Structural Steel Detailer - Stairs, Handrails, Grates & Ladders

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAD Detailer to join our team. The CAD Detailer will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and plans for various metal fabrication and installation projects, including handrails, stairs, grates, and ladders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and installation, proficiency with detailing software, and the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed drawings and plans for metal fabrication and installation projects, including handrails, stairs, grates, and ladders.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
• Utilize detailing software to create accurate and precise drawings.
• Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
• Coordinate with fabricators and installers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and verify dimensions.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of detailing software experience, with proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• At least 2 years of detailing experience with structural and/or miscellaneous metals.
• Experience with detailing handrails, stairs, grates, and ladders is a must!
• Knowledge of metal fabrication and installation processes, including structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for site visits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including email, calendars, and contacts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing production.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: 

$24.00 - $40.00 per hour
