Carpenter/ Trim Carpenter
A carpenter can consist of a broad range of skills. We have all skill levels here at Murphy's Family Staffing that will fit your needs. We have carpenters that can assist your team with basic day to day average carpentry skills or carpenters with a higher skill set that can frame wood/ metal, set windows & doors, install fixtures in a residential or commercial setting, install siding, build cabinetry, lay tile, build forms for concrete and much much more!
Crane Operators
We know that it can be tough finding the right crane operator for the job. Our Crane operators are all NCCCO certified and have their CLD Class A License. We have operators that can run AT Hyrdo's Telescopic, Tower, Mobile, Overhead and more. Our operators run 50T to MASSIVE Lieberr 750's. Specify what it is your company is looking for and we'll do our best to find the right person for the job if we don't have them available.
Concrete Worker
Our concrete workers are expected to be able to pour concrete, tie rebar, build forms to prep for pour, mix concrete or if you need someone just to carry block to assist your foreman, we have you covered!
Drywall Hangers/ Finishers
As a Drywall Hanger/ Finisher our employees are expected to hang between 35 - 40 sheets of drywall per 8 hour shift. Our Drywall Finishers are expected to tape, mud and sand to prepare drywall to be painted without being able to see any seems or screw markings at a proficient rate.
Electricians
Our electrician range from helpers to Masters. Helpers are expected to assist all Journeymen in day to day aspects of electrical work. Our journeymen electricians are expected to be able to pull wire, run Cat 5 cable, bend conduit, wire fixtures and any commercial devices and read prints.
Equipment Operators
Equipment Operators are expected to have all safety knowledge of the machine they are running and be able to not just "RUN" the machine but "PROPERLY OPERATE" the machine at a safe consistent speed. We also expect our operators to be "WORKING" operators and do the grunt work as well! We have a wide variety of operators. Please contact us for the skill level and piece of machinery that your company needs operated.
General/ Skilled Labor
Whether you're looking for a general laborer or a skilled laborer, we have you covered. Our general/ skilled laborers on expect to preform a wide variety of duties. Our labor force is expected to assist with anything that you have going on on the job site within the employees capabilities.
HVAC Service Technicians
It may be hard to find a good service technician for your company these days but leave the searching to our team. We will find the best service fit for your company. All of our service technicians are required to be EPA Section 608 technician certified. ON CALL TECHNICIANS AVAIALBE ON REQUEST.
Insulation Technicians
All of our Insulation technicians have experience installing residential and commercial type insulation. Whether it be rolled insulation, blown insulation or sprayed insulation, we will work diligently to make sure your company is covered.
Iron Workers
Iron Workers are expected to be able to install structural and reinforcing iron and steel to form and support buildings, bridges, and roads. We require our Iron Workers to have at least 5 years experience, be safety conscious, be able to weld, fabricate and have experience with using a harness.
Janitorial
We have had a lot of inquires with this position. Our Janitorial staff has experience in sterilizing commercial building, schools and residential housing for Mold and COVID-19. Janitorial service are also available for trash removal and putting the finishing touches on jobsites upon completion.
Masons
Do you have the need for a Brick Mason, Block Mason or Stone Mason? Our team of Masons can install block work, lay brick and use different stone methods to assist with any project that you may have going on such as walls, walkways, fences, and chimneys.
Millwright
Millwrights are required to have at least 2 years experience with installing and maintaining equipment in an industrial setting. Our Millwrights are available for shut downs, installations of new industrial equipment and conveyer systems. The are also expected to be "on the spot" fabricators/ welders and make work, whatever the job may be.
Painters
Our Painters are qualified to do residential remodeling or big Commercial Projects! No matter if it's using a brush or sprayer, our top notch Painters will be able to suit your needs.
Plumbers/ Pipefitters
Plumbers/ Pipefitters are pretty well sought after. Our plumbers are required to know how to install and set fixtures such as tubs, toilets and sinks. If you are looking for a commercial plumber they will know how to braze and solder copper, run pex, install PVC & CPVC, run drains and exhaust piping, install black iron pipe and do all underground work. We also have higher skilled Plumbers available that can read prints and run crews as well.
Roofers
Roofers at Murphy's Family Staffing have the right skills for the job on any roof. We have a variety of different roofers that are available such as residential roofers that can handle any pitch roof for asphalt shingles or solar tiles or for your bigger commercial roofing needs that deal with TPA, Metal, Stone coated steel, slate, Rubber slate, clay & concrete tiles, green roofs and Built-up roofing.
Riggers
A rigger is responsible for setting up any machinery or piece of equipment that needs moved in the proper manner. This mostly includes aligning the machinery in its new spot, leveling it properly, and anchoring it so it doesn't move during use. Our riggers will make sure all lifting and rigging shackles are in their proper place and straps are connected safely and properly to lift equipment to destination. We strongly recommend our riggers to also have a tagline and to stay out from underneath whatever is being moved. Safety is our number one priority!
Sheet Metal Mechanics
Sheet metal mechanics, tin knockers, are our most sought out tradesmen of them all. Our sheet metal mechanics will be able to fabricate your sheet meal for any commercial job you need help on. Our mechanics are mainly used in fabricating duct work for commercial project such as hotels, school, and large scale office buildings.
Sprinkler Fitters
A sprinkler fitter is responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing sprinkler systems. The duties of our sprinkler fitters will typically include installing plumbing fixtures, fixing and replacing defective and outdated sprinklers, and soldering and welding pipes, tubes, and fittings designed for sprinklers. Our Journeymen sprinkler fitters will be able to read prints and run crews as well.
Tile Layers
Tile layers will be able to read prints, measure square footage of room for tile to be laid, be able to install tile to fit, which means being able to cut angles, grout and finish tile to completion.
Welders/ Fabricators
Welders manage the machines that manufacture and repair metal structures, tools, and equipment. Our skilled welders work mainly in the construction and manufacturing industry. Other duties include planning layouts and measurements and testing welded surfaces. We have welders that are qualified in different ranges of grove welding from 1G to 6G/6GR.
