Be the Mastermind Behind Metal Marvels: Estimator/Project Manager

Then we need YOU on our team as an Estimator/Project Manager!
In this dynamic role, you'll be the architect of our success, transforming ideas into stunning structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects.
Here's a taste of the impact you'll make:
- Estimating Extraordinaire: You'll meticulously analyze materials, equipment, and labor needs for projects – from intricate staircases to towering steel structures. Your sharp eye for detail will ensure accurate and competitive estimates that win us the job.
- Project Management Powerhouse: You'll meticulously plan, organize, and orchestrate each project, keeping everything on time, on budget, and exceeding client expectations.
- Client Champion: You'll build strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and exceeding their needs every step of the way.
- Subcontractor Savvy: You'll source and manage the best subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of each project.
- Change Order Czar: You'll have the foresight to identify necessary changes and manage them efficiently, keeping projects on track.
- Technical Troubleshooter: No problem on the jobsite will faze you! You'll use your expertise to find solutions and keep things moving smoothly.
- Data Detective: You'll monitor and control project costs, keeping a watchful eye on the bottom line.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in our industry (think structural steel and miscellaneous metals).
- Existing customer relationships – you're a people person with a knack for building rapport!
The Perfect Candidate will possess the following traits:
- Relevant, preferably long-term experience in the steel industry
- Prior fabrication and install experience (similar to our structural and misc metals fab/install roles)
- Know how to perform take-off, and estimate hours to fab/install structural steel, stairs, railings, and other misc. metals, and prep a bid
- Thorough understanding of blueprints and specifications
- Prefer someone with existing customer relationships
- Strong project management background
- Problem solving capabilities – Ability to resolve typical issues that come up on jobsites
- Ability to identify the need for change orders and execute
- Strong computer skills

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
