Master the Art of Glass: Glazing Drafter

We're seeking a talented and motivated Glazing Drafter to join our innovative team. As a key member of our design department, you'll play a crucial role in bringing unique glass projects to life, from meticulous drafting to fabrication-ready drawings.
What you'll do:
- Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings for diverse glazing projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design intent and translate it into technical drawings.
- Utilize advanced drafting software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit to produce high-quality plans, elevations, and sections.
- Conduct thorough material take-offs and calculations to optimize project costs and resources.
- Review and approve subcontractor drawings, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in glazing technology.

What we're looking for:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Glazing Drafter or similar role
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit with strong drafting skills
- Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently
- Detail-oriented and organized with a commitment to quality

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
